We are seeking
a resident manager for a 26-unit apartment property in
Jefferson.
This position requires that you live on-site.
Compensation includes a 2-bedroom apartment and possible
occupancy bonuses. This is a part time live-in position for
the supervision and management of the property, and requires
the ability to make appointments to meet prospective renters
and or tenants throughout the day and/or evening & deal with
emergencies.
This is an ideal position for a team where one person
holds a full time job offsite and the other person wants to
remain at home a significant part of the time. The position
is NOT suitable for one person with a full-time job
elsewhere. A background check, credit check will be run.
Applicants must be very organized, have excellent
communication skills, and be detail oriented. Knowledge of
Window based computer programs and Internet use is required.
Previous apartment management experience is highly desired.
Knowledge of current property rental laws is very helpful.
Excellent Bilingual communication skills are ESSENTIAL
for this position.
Duties include:
- Greet prospective residents and provide information
on apartment inquiries
- Be available to show vacant units and tour the property
- Rent apartments and qualify all applicants
- Complete leasing/administrative paperwork
- Handle tenant requests, issues and complaints
- Issue late rent payment notices
- Inspect and clean property daily, including grounds &
parking area
- Process work orders and follow-up with maintenance
- Schedule and oversee maintenance in vacant apartments
- Assess and act accordingly in emergency situations
- Enforce rules and regulations of community
- Perform other related duties as assigned
